C.S.A stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and is an arrangement that fosters a direct relationship between the farmer and the customer. The way it works is a customer buys a “farm share” prior to the start of the farming season. This provides the farmer funds to purchase seed and other supplies, while also figuring out how much food needs to be grown.  In exchange, the customer receives a share of the crops that are ready each week. In Montana, this means a box of fresh produce every week for around 21 weeks. So when you run the numbers, it works out to be about $25.00 a week for a full share to receive the freshest produce available, while at the same time supporting local agriculture.  Another benefit is the quality of the produce. Farm share members will receive all of our best produce because you help make our farm possible.
